INCREASED PAYLOAD
The AeroAcoustics Aircraft Payload Extender II (APE II) will allow you to operate your Caravan at increased takeoff weights and extract even more profit making potential from the best single engine utility aircraft flying. The Caravan APE II can increase your payload capacity up to 23%! By Installing the APE II on your Caravan, the maximum takeoff gross weight of your aircraft will be increased by 312 lb. from 8750 lb. to 9062 lb. on the 208B with 675 SHP engines.

AN APE ON A CARAVAN?
Now that we've got your attention, you're probably asking yourself, exactly what is the Aircraft Payload Extender II? No it's not really an ape, although we like to think it adds the extra payload to your Caravan that only a real ape could handle. It's simply a small aerodynamic device that when installed on your Caravan allows you to increase your useful load/payload by 312lb.
The APE II modification consists of two 16" long stall fences/strakes attached to the wings leading edge just outboard of the landing light.
